Hello friends. We're very excited to announce the release of our new EP Broken Machine! Actually, the official release is August 26, followed by our EP release party on Friday, August 29 at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, which is also the first date on our national tour. (More on that below.) The amazing CD artwork you see above was created by Joel Barber, who also did a kick-ass job on the layout. The CD package includes some of our awesome new promo photos done by Dave Vann in a sweet layout by JM Designs (a.k.a. our drummer Jack, who also designed the sexy show flyer on the left). The EP was co-produced by the wonderful Jaime Durr, who has engineered all of our our recordings, and mastered by the legendary John Cuniberti, who also mastered our 2007 release Palace of Industrial Hope.
As a special thanks, we're giving you a sneak peek at the new songs and a chance to download Broken Machine for FREE! Simply click on the link below. Plus, anyone who signs up for our email list by Monday, August 18 will be sent a link to the free download, so if you get your friends to sign up, they'll be able to get the EP for free too.
We truly appreciate your love and support, but please note that this download is for our email list only. While we definitely want you to enjoy the music and spread the good word, we've put a lot of work (not to mention heart and soul) into the CD, and we wanted to offer this as a way of saying "thank you" to all of you. Also note that this download is available until Tuesday, August 19. At the end of this month, Broken Machine will be available on our website, both as a digital download and pressed CD, and at our shows.

Speaking of shows... Our EP release party on August 29 at Bottom of the Hill will be a blast. The event features two other cool SF bands, Vin Rouge and Excuses For Skipping, plus DJ Funkminsta Fulla will spin some tasty beats between sets. The show is also the launch of our national EP release tour: 25 dates in 30 days in 19 states and DC. We're pumped to get back on the road and see so many of you again. Below is more info on the first weekend of our Broken Machine Tour - including LA on August 30 and San Diego on August 31 - and a list of tour dates across the U.S. Visit our website for more details on the tour.
